In Working On Me, I will open up about things that have happened to me in the past. Things that make me who I am, even if I don't like them. With writing this I hope to be able to move on and find the happiness inside of me. For me and for my family.
Men are problem solvers. They don't know how to just listen. They listen and need to fix. This? He can't fix. He can't undo it, he can't erase it. He can't save you or protect you. And all of that goes against the very core of what it means to be a man. It's not that he doesn't love you or care or want to help...he just doesn't know how. Give him time, he'll find his way. But you have to let him find it on his own. Trust in him and his love for you.
